Noel A. Gatlin, 94, of Manteno, IL, died on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Citadel of Kankakee, in Kankakee, IL. He was born on June 25, 1930, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Noel A. and Lorraine Tisan Gatlin. He married Sara M. Carpenter Depoister, she preceded him in death on June 5, 2024.
He is survived by his four sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Beverly Gatlin of Italy, Texas, Randy and Marilyn Gatlin of Denison, TX, Gary and Paula Gatlin of Nashville, TN, and Bruce and Lori Gatlin of DeSoto, TX. His step-daughter, Jolene Stipp of Martinton, IL. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
He worked and retired as traveling Sales Representative for Sherman Williams. Noel loved to travel in his motorhome across the United States.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
