Philip J. Moenck Born: September 16, 1940 in Kankakee Died: December 27, 2024 in Kankakee Philip John Moenck "Phil", age 84 of Kankakee, passed away on December 27, 2024 at Citadel of Kankakee. Survived by his children Steve (Nicole) Moenck, Shirley Parnau, and Kevin (Christine) Moenck, grandchildren Ashlee Parnau, Rachel Parnau, Logan Moenck, Nathan Moenck, Malory (Brandon) Apke and Freddy Greifzu, siblings Rose Sullivan, Ruby (George) Roemer and Paul (Rita) Moenck, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his loving wife Carol Moenck, parents John and Ella Moenck (nee Janssen), and brother-in-law Neil Sullivan. Phil graduated from Lincoln-Way Central High School. He made a career out of farming across numerous towns throughout his life, namely between Manhattan and Clifton, IL.
