Virginia Jensen, 72, of Watseka, IL, died on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Momence Meadows Nursing Home in Momence, IL. She was born on August 13, 1951, in Watseka, IL, the daughter of William "Bill" and Albertina "Betty" Garcia Thornburg.
She is survived by her daughter; Cristin Spade of Momence, IL. Her son, Adam Spade of Watseka, IL. Her sister, Judy Folk of Hoschton, GA. Also surviving are three grandchildren; Alex Spade, Haley Spade and Grayson Warren. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters; Sarah Stimpson and Effie Stone.
She managed the bakery and deli at Quality Supermarket and then retired from Good Morning Bakery, both of Watseka, IL.
Virginia enjoyed cooking, bowling and fishing. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She always looked forward to road trips with her YaYa Sisters and took to the road to visit Kathy Clayton in Rushville, IL, whenever she could.
