Brett W. Cantwell, 48, of Momence, IL, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, on Monday, May 27th, 2024
at his home, due to a brief illness.
Brett arrived surprisingly and prematurely, along with his twin brother, Brent, on March 19, 1976 to his very excited parents, Paul and Penny (Terrell) Cantwell.
He attended Momence Elementary Schools and graduated from Momence High School, where he lettered in many sports.
Upon High School Graduation, he entered the U.S. Navy, proudly serving his country. He was a member of VAQ 142 - Gray Wolves, stationed on Whidbey Island. He had been deployed to Saudi Arabia on three separate occasions, including Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning his AMS3, before Honorable Discharge.
Brett had been a truck driver, for several different carriers. His hobbies included, golfing, hunting, fishing and all water sports. He had a heart of gold, would always give you his time and the shirt off of his back, if needed. He had been a member of St. Patri
